Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEAN NIECKARZ It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Jean Nieckarz on June 6, 2004. Jean was born on September 9, 1920 in Frazerwood, MB. On June 22, 1940, she married Ben Nieckarz and moved with him to the Hazelridge area, where they resided happily until 1989. Jean was predeceased by her daughters, Rose in 1956, Patricia in 1964; and husband Ben in 1999. Mourning Jeans passing are her children, Joyce of Rockland, ON, Edward (Jean) of Surrey, BC, Thaddeus, Joseph (Judie), Frances (Lawrie Goalen), Mary of Calgary, AB, Victor (Cheryl), Angela, and Teresa (Peter Stobbe) of Edmonton, AB. Also mourning her passing are, her sister, Nellie; and her brothers, Andrew and Peter; grandchildren, Allison (Derek), Mary (James), Paula (Trevor), Daniel (Julia), Cali, Cortney, Ryan, Amy, Christie, Laura, Amber, Colin, Jessica, Richard, John, Patricia, and Kevin; great-grandchildren, Kelly, Robyn, Tia, Charity, and Jacob. Her time with the Hazelridge Catering ladies left Jean with many happy memories and lasting friendships. Her joy of gardening was second only to the joy of nurturing her eleven children. Several awards from the Springfield Agricultural Fair culminated in a three-peat of the aggregate award for her gardening accomplishments. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff of Rose Unit at East Gate Lodge for the wonderful care Jean received. Prayers will be held on Wednesday, June 9 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 10 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michaels Roman Catholic Church, Cooks Creek, MB with Rev. Fr. Sebastian Gachi officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. With prayers from her devoted family, we wish her well on her journey to life everlasting. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
