LORNE BRADLEY JACOBSON Suddenly, on Sunday, June 6, 2004 at his residence, Lorne passed away at the age of 52 years. Lorne was predeceased by his beloved mother Johannesina; father Clarence; and brother Kristinn Marino. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Andrea; daughters, Cheri and Kristin; very special pal grandson Dominic and granddaughter Sophie; sister Clarice (Gerry) Rebillard and numerous nieces and nephews. Lorne grew up in Arborg, MB and later moved to Winnipeg, when he was 15. He started his career as a truck driver and later moved to factory work, followed by construction. Lorne worked for Stoney Mountain Institute as a carpentry instructor and in the maintenance department for 15 years. His greatest love was for his garden and flowers. He was very skilled as a carpenter and could make almost anything out of wood. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. Viewing will be held one hour prior to service time. The service will terminate at the chapel and a private family interment will be held at a later date in Arborg. The family wishes to thank the Selkirk EMT and the RCMP for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Haga Cemetery, Arborg, MB. We love and miss you Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother and Uncle. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
