MONIQUE ST-JEAN (nee DESJARDINS) 1954 - 2004 Peacefully, with her family at her side, Monique passed away at the age of 49 years, after a short, courageous battle with cancer. Monique is survived by Michel, her loving husband of 31 years, her sons, Daniel (Audrey), Eric (Arianne) and Marc, her treasured grandchildren, Alexa and Sebastien, her mother Rolande, her sisters, Lynne (Gilles) and Louise (Charles), her brothers, Denis (Pierrette) and Andre (Tammy), her sister-in-law Marina, her godson and special nephew, Zachary and Xavier. Monique was predeceased by her father Lionel and her brother Michel. She will be deeply missed by all. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Desjardins Funeral Home, 357 rue Des Meurons. Reception to follow. The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors that cared for Monique on both the fourth and fifth floors of Victoria Hospital and those who cared for her during her short stay at the St. Boniface Hospital palliative care ward. Special thanks also go to homecare nurse, Myrna.
