Mom and dad were blessed with six children from their union, which mom referred to as her Six Beautiful Roses." Mom was the true strength of our family. She was there when we needed her, she kept our family together. Mom had a big and forgiving heart. She enjoyed baking, doing crafts, crocheting, quilting, flea markets, garage sales, and she sure enjoyed selling her costume jewelry which won her a trip to Hawaii. She loved being able to pass onto her daughters and granddaughters her numerous gifts and talents. Mom was an awesome cook and she enjoyed cooking large Sunday meals because she knew someone would always show up. Mom loved Bingo and enjoyed going with dad, with various members of her family and especially with her granddaughters. Moms grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. There was nothing that she wouldnt do for them. She would sit for hours with them laughing and sharing stories from her childhood.
