TONY RYDZ Peacefully, Tony Rydz, beloved husband of Pearl, passed away on June 10, 2004 in Arborg, MB at the age of 83 years. Tony will be sadly missed by his wife Pearl of 51 years; his children, Jim Rydz (Colleen) grandchildren, Wendy and Jerry; Joan Woloshyn (Randy), grandchildren, Candace and Trevor; stepchildren, Elaine Mymka (Wayne) Dave Pawluk (Gail), grandchildren; sister-in-law Olga Rydz, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Katherine and Walter; brothers, Joe and Stanley; stepbrothers, Mike and John; stepson Bert. Tony was born September 13, 1920 and came from Poland, April 23, 1932 with his parents and brothers. Mom and Dad were married November 17, 1952 and farmed all their life in Morweena and Arborg District. Many will remember him for the beautiful wedding cakes he decorated for all. His love for his grandchildren, Trevor, Candace, Wendy and Jerry will never be forgotten. The family would like to thank all the home care workers, Arborg and Seven Oaks Hospital who cared for Tony. Prayers will be Sunday, June 13 at 7:00 p.m. at Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Chapel; Divine Liturgy will be Monday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Ukrainian Catholic Church, Arborg. Pallbearers will be Trevor Woloshyn, Jerry Rydz, Randy Woloshyn, Danny Rydz, Terrance Dziadek, Kelly Harder. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Morweena Cemetery Fund. Arborg (MacKenzie) Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
