NELLIE (NELL) BOND It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Nellie (Nell) Bond, on June 10, 2004. Born in Winnipeg a long time ago, some of her younger years were spent in Ireland with her family (Carlisle). On July 1, 1939, she married Manly Bond. They resided in Winnipeg and Brandon. The family wants to thank the residents of 64 Nassau St. for their friendship and good times that so enriched her life. She was predeceased by her husband Manly (July 1, 1973) and two brothers, James and Jack. Nell is survived by her sons, Wayne (Jacie) of Edmonton, Dennis (Diane) of Winnipeg; sister Jane Russell of Winnipeg; grandsons, Jason and Callan of Edmonton, David of Winnipeg; granddaughter Carrie of Winnipeg; and great-grandsons, Zachary and Justin of Edmonton. At her request she has been cremated. A private family gathering will be held on Sunday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Chapels and Crematorium, 669 Broadway (783-7211).
