Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryFREDERICK ALEXANDER BRENNAN June 2, 1943 - June 6, 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fred Brennan, Jr., aged 61 years, on Sunday, June 6 at Maple Hill Hospital - Extended Care Unit in Langley, B.C. He will be dearly missed by his mother Agnes, sisters, Kim (Steve) Milani of Florida and Colleen (Lorne) Vandersteen, brother Harvey, daughter Kim (Doug), cousins, Bob and Bill Brennan, Shirley Busby and Grant Sherritt of Toronto. Fred was born June 2, 1943 in Windsor, Ontario to Agnes (nee Topolie) and Fred Brennan. He is predeceased by father Fred (2000) and brother Murray (1997). In 1949, the family moved from Windsor to Portage la Prairie and later to Winnipeg. After graduating from Glenlawn Collegiate in 1962, Fred worked for CN Rail travelling across Canada for 10 years as a Bar Steward. He switched careers to Car Salesman, working for several Car Dealerships in Winnipeg. Eventually, he opened his own dealership called BBB (Big Boy Brokerage) in St. Boniface. In 1987, he moved to Vancouver, B.C. Fred was an easy going and friendly guy who was nicknamed "Bear". The family would like to express a special thanks to Maple Hill - Extended Care Unit, Langley, B.C. for their special care for Fred during his long stay there. A family service will be held at a future date.
