ARDITH ROWENA FRANCIS (nee SANDERS) On Thursday June 10, 2004 at the Carman Memorial Hospital in Carman, Manitoba, Ardith Rowena Francis, age 88 years, beloved wife of the late Oliver Francis of Carman, Manitoba. Ardith leaves to cherish her memory, one sister, Gwen Ralph of Almonte, Ontario and her children Paul Ralph, Jonathan Ralph and Geoffrey Ralph; one brother, Barrie and his wife Lucille Sanders, and their children, Lynne Clark, Paul Sanders and Ron Sanders. Ardith was predeceased by her husband Oliver Francis and by two brothers, Sargeant Pilot Paul Sanders, and Blake Sanders. Ardith enjoyed a 30 career as a beauty consultant with two major cosmetic companies, Tussy and DuBarry. She did many radio and television promotions and travelled extensively throughout western Canada before retiring to Carman with her husband Oliver. She will be fondly remembered for her love of music. She had a talent for both organ and piano and on many occasions she played at chapel services and for the residents of the Boyne Lodge. Sehe enjoyed reading, gardening and her dear pet dog and birds. Ardith Mwill be sadly missed by her bridge group, and her many friends and neighb on onday, June 14, at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Catherine Waldie ofours. Funral service will be held from the Carman United Church in Carman, MB,ficiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Greenwood Cemetery, Carman. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Carman Memorial Hospital Box 610, or the Boyne Library in Carman.
