Predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Jean McCormick; and second wife Evelyn Robinson; brothers, Lou and Meredith of Kelowna and White Rock, BC. Robert was born in Nanaimo, BC, son of W.R. and Emma Griffith. Robert is survived by his children, Dawn (Jim Millar) of Ottawa, Patricia Marie of Enniskillen House of Shalom, Robert (Carole) of Winnipeg; grandsons, Glendon (Laurel) and Michael of Winnipeg, Bruce (Luci) Millar of Ottawa, Tanya (Andrew) Zadow of Pembroke; great-grandchildren, Justin and Stephanie Millar, Kayla and Benjamin Zadow and Marie Griffith; and cousins from British Columbia to Quebec. A service of remembrance will take place on Wednesday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roberts memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7 or Shalom Residences, 123 Matheson East, Winnipeg, MB R2W 0C3.
