ROSE SMITH Peacefully on Thursday, June 10, 2004, Rose Smith passed away, with family by her side, at the Kin Place Personal Care Home in Oakbank, Manitoba, at the age of 91 years. Rose is survived by her only son Roger and his wife Debbie; three grandchildren, Tammy and her husband Steven, Ryan, and Joshua; three great-grandchildren, Kyle Wesley, Alex James, and Jordyn; her brother in-law Rayman and his wife Erna. Her husband, of nearly fifty years, Wesley and her nine brothers and sisters from England, predeceased Rose. Rose came from England to Manitoba as a war bride in 1945. She was a private person whose life centred around her love for her family. Rose will be deeply missed but forever loved. She will remain forever in our hearts. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 14 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook Street. Interment Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
