MARIE-ANGE ST-HILAIRE (nee VERRIER) Le jeudi 10 juin 2004, au Centre medico-social DeSalaberry, a Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, Marie-Ange est decedee paisiblement a lage de 93 ans et 6 mois. Elle laisse dans le deuil, ses enfants, Celine (Gaston Bremault), Romeo (Simonne Saindon), Antoine (Jeannette Saindon), Fernand (Gracia Robidoux), Raynald (Estelle Lambert), 24 petits-enfants, 40 arrieres-petits-enfants et ses belles-soeurs Etiennette Verrier et Ernestine Verrier. Lont precedee dans la tombe, son epoux, Edouard, en aout 2000, son arriere-petit-fils, Nicholas, en novembre 2003, ses freres et soeurs, Eugene, Alphonse (Kataryna Marczuk), Wilbrod (Maria Fisette), Isidore, Celina (Oscar Rivard), Agathe (Alphonse Joubert), Philomene (Joseph Saulnier), Lucie (Telesphore Savignac), Antoine, Claire (Hubert Labelle), Adele, Marie-Jeanne (Antonio Saulnier), Joseph, Gerard, Jacob (Jeanne Laurin), Parmelia, et ses beaux-freres et belles-soeurs, Francois, Clerinda (Omer Massicotte), Jean-Baptiste (Blanche Guertin), Joseph-Francois (Maria Fontaine), Delphine (Wilfrid Courcelles), Eleonore (Alfred Fontaine), Leontine (Theophile Turenne), Adelard (Dorothee Hebert), Marie-Arthemise, Rose-Anna (Joseph-Aime Courcelles), Pierre (Arthemise Dupuis), et Wilfrid (Marie-Paule Bourrassa). Elle etait la derniere de cette generation. Marie-Ange est nee le 11 novembre 1910 a Aubigny, Manitoba, fille de Jacob Verrier et Parmelia Pelland. Le 12 juin 1930, elle epousa Edouard St-Hilaire, et en juin 2000, entoures de leur famille, ils celebrerent leur 70ieme anniversaire de mariage. Les prieres auront lieu a leglise de Saint-Pierre-Jolys, le mercredi 16 juin a 19 h. La messe de la resurrection suivra a 19 h 30 et sera celebree par le Pere Edmond Turenne. Linhumation aura lieu immediatement apres au cimetiere de Saint-Pierre-Jolys. La famille remercie sincerement le personnel des soins a domicile du Chalet Malouin davoir si bien vu au bien-etre de Marie-Ange, ainsi que le personnel du Centre medico-social DeSalaberry qui a su continuer ces bons soins. MARIE-ANGE ST-HILAIRE (nee VERRIER) On Thursday, June 10, 2004, at the DeSalaberry District Health Centre, in Saint-Pierre-Jolys, Manitoba, Marie-Ange St-Hilaire died peacefully at the age of 93 years and 6 months. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children, Celine (Gaston Bremault), Romeo (Simonne Saindon), Antoine (Jeannette Saindon), Fernand (Gracia Robidoux), Raynald (Estelle Lambert), 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and her sisters-in-law, Etiennette Verrier and Ernestine Verrier. Marie-Ange was predeceased by her husband, Edouard, in August 2000; her great-grandson, Nicholas in November 2003; her brothers and sisters, Eugene, Alphonse (Kataryna Marczuk), Wilbrod (Maria Fisette), Isidore, Celina (Oscar Rivard), Agathe (Alphonse Joubert), Philomene (Joseph Saulnier), Lucie (Telesphore Savignac), Antoine, Claire (Hubert Labelle), Adele, Marie-Jeanne (Antonio Saulnier), Joseph, Gerard, Jacob (Jeanne Laurin), Parmelia, and her brothers and sisters-in-law, Francois, Clerinda (Omer Massicotte), Jean-Baptiste (Blanche Guertin), Joseph-Francois (Maria Fontaine), Delphine (Wilfrid Courcelles), Eleonore (Alfred Fontaine), Leontine (Theophile Turenne), Adelard (Dorothee Hebert), Marie-Arthemise, Rose-Anna (Joseph-Aime Courcelles), Pierre (Arthemise Dupuis), and Wilfrid (Marie-Paule Bourrassa). Marie-Ange was the last survivor of this generation. Marie-Ange was born on November 11, 1910, in Aubigny, MB, the daughter of Jacob Verrier and Parmelia Pelland. She married Edouard St-Hilaire June 12, 1930, and in June 2000, surrounded by their family, they celebrated 70 years of marriage. Prayers will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church, on June 16 at 7:00 p.m. followed by the Mass of Resurrection at 7:30 p.m. with Fr. Edmond Turenne, celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family expresses sincere thanks to the Home Care Staff at the Chalet Malouin for having seen to the well-being of Marie-Ange and to the DeSalaberry District Health Centre Staff who continued this excellent care. Special thanks to Dr. Du Plessis for her excellent care and compassion. The Edouard and Marie-Ange St-Hilaire Trust Fund was established to benefit persons who contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of seniors.
