KATARZYNA CWIKLA (SARZYNSKA) It is with great sorrowthatthe family announces the passing of our dear Mother and Grandmother, Katarzyna Cwikla, on Sunday, June 13, 2004. Katarzyna passed away after a short illness, at the age of 92 years, at Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg. She kept her wonderful sense of humour to the end, including her last days in the hospital. She was born in Przychojec, Poland on May 12, 1912. Katarzyna came to Canada in 1977 to join her daughter and her family. Katarzyna was predeceased by her young son Jozef (1950), her husband Jan (1975) and her brothers and sisters in Poland, Canada, and the United States. She will be dearly missed by her daughter Maria (Jan Marcinowski) her son Frank (Zofia) her grandsons, Tom (Melanie), Kristopher, Adam, Martin; and her granddaughter Anna. She is also survived by many relatives in Poland, Canada, and the United States. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff of the 5th Floor, Unit 7 of Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and compassion. Prayers will be said on Wednesday, June 16 at 8:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated on Thursday, June 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. with an Oblate Father officiating. Interment to follow in Holy Ghost Cemetery, 4387 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations in Katarzynas memory may be made to the Holy Ghost Church Memoriam Fund.
