ELNORA PENNER Passed away at Bethania Personal Care Home June 23, 2004 at the age of 67. She is survived by her husband Richard; daughter Richela (Michael) brothers, Jake (Mildred), Erwin (Wilma) nephew Michael (Denise), Angela and brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and many cousins. She was predeceased by her parents John and Kay Sawatzky. Elnora was born in Stuartburn, MB June 8, 1937. She attended King Edward elementary school, and Isaac Newton High. Elnora loved music and poetry, and had a great sense of humour. She had a strong love and faith in her God Jehovah, thus she along with her husband moved to Ontario to serve as pioneer ministers. After five years they moved back to Winnipeg to care for aging parents. We wish to thank the staff at Bethania Personal Care Home for their compassion and dedicated care given to Elnora for four and a half years, especially their efforts in making her last days as comfortable as possible. Cremation has taken place and memorial service will be held Monday, June 28 at 7:00 p.m. at Kingdom Hall Centre, 229 Lakewood Blvd., with Tom Didur officiating.
