Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANTHONY "TONY" BRADY With great sadness the family announces the passing of Tony at the Grace Hospital on Wednesday, June 16, 2004. Tony was born May 3, 1922. He is survived by his loving wife and friend, Gloria whom he married in September, 1946; his daughter Georgia (Wayne) Jones; precious grandson Brad Anthony; granddaughter Tiffany (Sean) of St. Catharines, ON; sister Gloria Evans and her family; nieces and nephews; as well as his sisters-in-law, Fran and Haloria and brother-in-law, Stan (Vi) Evans of Brandon, MB. Tony served overseas with the Armed forces as a Corporal and was involved in the battle of Normandy and the liberation of Holland. He was proud to be Canadian. Tony was self employed in the sales and service of major appliances. Tony loved all sports; bowling with a 10 pin league at Chateau Lanes also golfing where he scored a hole in one and has a trophy for that feat. After his health began to fail, he turned to gardening as a hobby. He also enjoyed taking trips to the coast, California and also Florida with his family. Tony was predeceased by his devoted daughter Cindy who cared deeply for her dad and will meet him in Heaven. He was a kind and thoughtful man dedicated to his family. Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 21 at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Dr., the Rev. Bill Corkum officiating. Special thanks to Dr. R. Albak, Dr. L. R. Kroeker and Dr. Joshua and team, also Rosanne and staff at 3 West, Grace Hospital.
