VICTOR BURAK It is with sadness we announce the passing of our brother, brother-in-law and uncle Victor Burak on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the Grace Hospital after a lengthy illness. Victor was born June 20, 1925 in Winnipeg. He served in the Royal Canadian Armoured Corps before serving with the Royal Hamilton Light Infantry and was wounded in the European Theatre. He later travelled around the world working for the steamship lines. He was also employed by the Federal Government until his retirement. Victor was predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary Burak, his oldest brother John (Anita) and his youngest brother Marion. Victor is survived by his sisters Ann, Michaelda Scott in Calgary, Evageline Fraser, Helen and Josephine; his brothers William (Alice) and Joe and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Avenue, Aubrey Street entrance, with interment at Brookside Cemetery, with Reverend Gordon Shields officiating. The family wishes to thank the staff at Deer Lodge Centre on T4 for their care they gave Victor for several years. Also many thanks to the ICU at the Grace Hospital.
