Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTED PHILIP DEGEN Ted, aged 87, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, June 16, 2004. He will be lovingly remembered by Isabelle, his wife of 59 years; children, Kent, Gene (Barbara), Joan (Graham) Mercer; grandchildren, Samantha Wilson, Erin (Peter) Keating, Owen Degen and Kitana Degen; great-granddaughter Summer; and his sister Emma. Ted was raised and farmed in the Darlingford area until 1957. He then moved to Winnipeg and was employed by Powell Equipment until his retirement. Ted was a member of the Southglen Fiddlers and the Seniors Melody Group. He brought a lot of pleasure to family and friends with his music, and his great sense of humour. Memorial service for Ted will be held on Saturday, June 19 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow.
