CATERINA GAGLIARDI (nee FALVO) September 8, 1911 - June 3, 2004 Peacefully with her family all around her, Caterina Gagliardi passed away in the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC on June 3, 2004. She was predeceased by her husband Tommaso in 1998 and her two sons-in-law, Frank Rossi and Mario Guzzi. Born in Amato, Italy, mom came to Canada with her family in June of 1954. She settled in the province of British Columbia in Prince Rupert and then relocated to Penticton, Kelowna and eventually settled in Kamloops. She will be remembered and sadly missed by her four daughters, Mary Rossi of Winnipeg, Phylis Guzzi, Kamloops, Ester (Ron) Krill, Edmonton, AB, Joanne (Alan) Wilkinson, Prince Rupert, BC, and one son Tony (Rita) Gagliardi, Spruce Grove, AB. She will also be remembered by her brother Joe Falvo of Edmonton. They will cherish her memory, her 12 grandchildren, her 17 great-grandchildren, four sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Our mother and grandmother was a loving, caring, and most of all, a giving woman. She was a woman of great faith and devotion. She had a good sense of humour, and her first priority was her family. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 22 at 7:30 p.m. at Mary, Mother of the Church, 85 Kirkbridge Dr. "For every loved one we lose on earth, we gain an angel in heaven. Rest in peace, and watch over us."
