MARJORIE ETHEL HUDSON 1913 - 2004 Marjorie passed away peacefully at 90 years of age on June 17, 2004 at Seven Oaks General Hospital in Winnipeg, MB. She is survived by her children, sons Gordon (Lynda), and Barry (Dianne), and daughter Gail (Louie) grandchildren Dawn (Stephen), Darrin, Chris, Kyle, Joanne, Suzy and Katie; and great granddaughters Haley and Erin. Marjorie was predeceased by her loving husband of 66 years, George Arthur, and her sister Violet Stone. Mom was the calm and loving cornerstone of our family. She possessed a strength of will that defied her small stature and her quiet manner and soft smile were always evident as she welcomed many family and friends into her and dads home. Mom loved to dance and looked forward to her many card games with friends. She and dad spent many happy years together, from early days in Winnipeg and Madsen Mines, Ontario, to Prince Albert, Sask. They wintered in both Florida and Arizona, making numerous friends along the way, before finally settling in Winnipeg to be close to family and dear friends. Mom will be deeply missed but always remembered with great fondness by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life Tea will be held on Friday, June 25, 2004 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Leatherdale Gardiner Funeral Chapel, 1858 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg, MB.
