ALEXA MARY KNOWLES August 2, 1920 - June 15, 2004 Peacefully on June 15, 2004 Alexa Mary Knowles passed away at the age of 83 years. Alexa was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and came to Canada in 1946 as a war bride of Joseph Milo Knowles. Alexa was predeceased by her husband in 1985. She will be fondly remembered by her son Fraser Knowles (Barb) of Edmonton, Alta, her daughter Sheila Cramer of Winnipeg, her grandchildren, Glen, Cathy, Virginia, Ken, Nancy, Chris and Stephen as well as nine great-grandchildren. Alexas family wishes to thank all of the staff at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg, as well as special friends Jean Taylor, Faye Finch and Vera Knowles for their exceptional care, compassion and support. In accordance with Alexas wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
