HARRY G. PRICE Harry G. Price passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2004 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. He was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 13, 1915. Harry was employed by the C.N.R. starting in 1938. He spent four years in the Canadian Army, two of which were overseas during the Second World War. Returning in 1946, he then resumed his railway career working in Winnipeg, Moose Jaw, SK, Edmonton, AB, Prince Rupert, B.C., Regina, SK, again in Winnipeg, and finally in Brandon as Branch Manager of Sales. He retired in 1975. Harry was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 3 and a past member of the Kiwanis Club. If friends care to remember him with a smile - think of the golf course, curling club, bowling alley and lottery booth at the Mall. Harry definitely enjoyed spending his time at those locations. Harry was predeceased by his parents Snider and Jane Price; two brothers and three sisters. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Adeline; son Tom and wife Mlee; grandsons Taylor and Tanner; and sister Marjorie Price of Winnipeg, MB. A private family graveside service was held at the Brandon Cemetery, Veterans Section on Tuesday, June 8, 2004 with Padre Michael Skliros officiating. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations, in memory of Harry, may be made to a charity of ones choice. Messages of condolence may be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com. Arrangements were in care of Brockie Donovan, Brandon, 727-0694.
