ELLENOR REID 1911 - 2004 Mrs. Ellenor Reid, after a long prosperous life passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 13, 2004, after a brief illness at McCausland Hospital in Terrace Bay, ON. Loved by all who knew her, she will be sorrowfully missed. Ellenor was born in Badger, MB. She was raised in St. Anne and Winnipeg and lived with her husband in Port Arthur for many years before settling back in Fort Garry. Ellenor moved only recently to Terrace Bay to be closer to family. She touched the hearts of all those who made her acquaintance. Ellenor was predeceased by her daughter, Lynne May Hurst (1978) and her husband David William (1985). Ellenor is survived by her sister Dorothy Barrier of Ottawa; cousin Patricia Reid of Winnipeg; grandchildren, Don Hurst (Audrey) of Calgary, AB, Dr. David Hurst of Rossport, ON and Julie Hoffman (Dave) of Edmonton, as well as eight beautiful great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Winnipeg at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens on Saturday, the 26th of June at 2:00 p.m. Ellenors spirit will live on for eternity.
