Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRONALD RICHEN It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing, by heart attack, of our beloved husband, father and brother, Ron on June 17, 2004. Ron was born on July 31, 1944 at Grand Beach, MB to Robert and Clementine Richen, who predeceased him. He is survived by his loving wife, Anne; his son, Allan and his wife Kathy; and his daughter, Cheryl Roby and her husband, Jon. Ron was so proud of his children. He is also survived by his four younger brothers, their wives and families, Doug and Jan (Scott and Michael) of Burnaby, BC; Dan and Cheryl of Drumheller, AB; Bob and Sandra of Winnipeg; and David and Lorrie (Mathew and Danielle) of Winnipeg. He is also survived by Annes sister, Cheryl and Peter Hasenpflug (Kathy and David) of Fenlon Falls, ON. Ron was an honest, intelligent and insightful man who worked as a draftsman, estimator, salesman, project manager and small business owner in the grain industry for forty years. Newly retired, he was looking forward to time just to relax, exercise his skill as a woodworker and savour life. Ron spent his last night on earth under the stars in the gazebo at the lake. He is at peace. You are much loved, Ron and will be sorely missed. "Only the good die young" Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 24 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Interment and reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway, Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
