Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryANNE STACKER February 14, 1923 - June 14, 2004 Peacefully, in her sleep, after a courageous two and a half year battle with cancer, our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Anne passed away at the Grace Hospice at the age of 81 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Larry, Patti and Ken (Aurore) grandchildren, Crystal (Dave), Lisa and Shelley; and her great-grandchild Alexis. She will also be missed by her special "adopted daughter" Carol; and her newly extended family, Andrea, Shayanne, Stuart and Elaine Klassen. Anne was predeceased by her husband George; and oldest son Glen. Moms most enjoyable times were those spent with her family. She excelled at all things creative and continued to do so until the evening she passed away. A Service of Remembrance has been held. The Stacker Family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to everyone who visited and cared for Anne during her lengthy illness, especially Dr. P. Harris and the staff at the Grace Hospital; the St. Boniface Palliative Care; Jocelyn House staff; and special friend Dr. Garnet Crawford. A very sincere thank you to Dr. J. Mulder and all the staff at the Grace Hospice for the kind and compassionate care you gave Mom. Also, a big thank you to Ernie Dyck, who seemed to follow Anne from home to home and kept her spirits high with his music. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Annes memory may be made to the Headingley United Church Memorial Gardens, 110 Bridge Rd., Headingley, MB R4H 1G3 or the Grace Hospital Foundation Office (Grace Hospice), 300 Booth Dr., Winnipeg, MB.
