Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGORDON FRASER DAVIDSON 1934 - 2004 With profound sadness the family of Gordon Fraser Davidson announces his sudden passing at Concordia Hospital on Saturday, June 19, 2004. He was beloved husband of Eleanor; cherished father of Mitch, Lori-ann and Jennifer (Frank Chiappetta) daughter-in-law Jacqui and adored grandfather (Bappy) of Darian and Josh. He leaves to mourn his brother-in-law Harold Horch; brothers and sisters-in-law, Iris Sharpe, Mike and Edith Bilokreli, Barry and Dale Sharpe; and his Auntie Edie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and relatives in Saskatchewan, Sydney, McGregor, Austin and Scotland. He was predeceased by his mother and father, Andrew and Annie Davidson and his beloved sister Betty. Gordon was born in Winnipeg and grew up in the west end. He attended Principal Sparling, General Wolfe and Daniel Mac. He worked at Canada Colonization for two years and then began a long (39 years) and fulfilling career at Manitoba Telephone System. When he retired he was working in Telecommunication fraud and security which he loved. He had always wanted to work in law enforcement and in this he found his true calling. In the face of adversity his inner strength, his dry wit and care and compassion helped us through many a dark day. Our loss is immeasurable, but forever in our memories is the joy of our times together, the warmth of his loving heart and the laughter, always the laughter. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 24 at Knox United Church, 400 Edmonton St. If so desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200-6 Donald St., MB R3L 0K6. His song was unique and precious, were so glad we heard the music. We Love You Bap! NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
