DANIEL BUHLER Formerly of Winnipeg, Daniel Buhler passed away peacefully June 19, 2004, after a brief bout with cancer at the age of 87 in Osoyoos, B.C. Dad, granddad, and great-granddad will be missed by his wife of 61 years, Anne Buhler; his daughter Lois Kostianos; his five sons Ronald, Arthur, James, Milton, and Phillip; his daughters-in-law Susan, Beverley, Carolyn, and Sarah; one daughter Gracie was pre-deceased. He will always be remembered by his 18 grandchildren Curtis, Christine, Carl, Colleen (Ron and Sue), Patsy, Cheryl, Dwight, Erica, Floyd (Art and Bev), Timothy, Tammy (Jim and Carol), Lara, Laena, Daniel (Lois), Shawna, Jamie, Patricia, Anne (Mel and Sarah) his great-grandchildren Jessie, Wesley, Riley, Cassidy, Taylor, Brooke, Conlan, Cael, Rebecca, Isabella, Jordan, Holly, and Caleb. Dan also had many brothers and sisters, mostly pre-deceased since he was from a family of 27 children. He is survived by Justina, Cornelius and Dietrich. His influence has touched many people through the 60 plus years of his ministry as a pastor, preacher, Evangelist, and world traveller (33 countries), but he always said that Canada was the best. We were all aware of his humourous side since he always had a joke to tell. We know he is now awaiting moms arrival on the other side. Rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus Dad. A memorial service will be held in Winnipeg, MB, on Saturday, July 3, at 1:00 p.m. at the Waverley Fellowship Baptist Church, 2171 Waverley Street.
