Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCHARLES HENRI LAPOINTE At his home, with his family by his side, Dad passed on peacefully in the early morning of Sunday, June 20, 2004. He will be lovingly remembered by Gisele (Paul Lagasse), Huguette (Marc Berard), Line (Roger Delorme), Paulette (Claude Devigne), Marc, Denis (Brenda), Paul (Lise), Guy (Betty) Boisvert, Marguerite (Yvon Bissonnette), Bibiane (Arnold) many grandchildren; his sisters, Orise Macintyre, Simone Hebert; and numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by the two loves of his life, his wife Fernande Gauthier (1974), longtime companion Therese Boisvert (1999), a daughter Lise, his parents, five sisters and four brothers. Henri was born and raised in Ste. Agathe, MB where he farmed until he retired in the 1980s and moved to Winnipeg. He loved the land despite its unpredictable nature and later enjoyed helping his nephew Gerald during harvesting season. He gave us unconditional love and by his own strong work ethics showed us to persevere in the face of adversity. With his quiet disposition and friendly smile, he touched the lives of many people. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be celebrated Thursday, June 24 at 4:00 p.m. in the Ste. Agathe Roman Catholic Church, Ste. Agathe, MB. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery. The family wishes to express their appreciation to the personnel of Centre de Sante and the WRHA Palliative Care Program for their assistance in making it possible to honour Dads wish to comfortably remain in his house.
