FLORENCE MAY FRYATT (nee FIRTH) August 6, 1903 - June 19, 2004 Peacefully on June 19, 2004, May passed away at Riverview Health Centre. She is survived by son Robert, daughter Joan (Robert) Graham, eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; a stepbrother, Peter Firth (Mavis), nieces and nephews in England. She was predeceased by her husband Walter (Winnipeg Grenadiers, Hong Kong 1941), daughter Jean (1933), son Walter Dennis and grandson Paul Graham (1996). Mom was born in England living in Barnsley, Yorkshire, before coming to Canada in 1930 to join Dad who had immigrated two years earlier. She was the eldest of eight children. Mom celebrated her 100th birthday with family, staff and friends at Riverview Heath Centre August 6, 2003. We wish to thank Dr. B. MacDougall for the many years he looked after Mom. Our family is most appreciative of the care and comfort provided by the staff of CD1 Riverview Heath Centre. At Moms request, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, donations in memory of May, may be made to a charity of ones choice.
