SIDNEY EVERETT HALL Peacefully on June 21, 2004 at Lions Personal Care Centre our father, Sidney Hall passed away at the age of 93 years. Sid lived all his life in Winnipeg. He was hardworking and industrious - a man of honesty and integrity. Sid worked in the meat industry. He started his career as a delivery boy for Dents English Bacon and Sausage Company working his way up to become a partner in the newly formed company H.M.S. Foods. Sid loved the out doors. Camping, boating, a good brisk walk, or just relaxing in a lawn chair. Just get out there in the sunshine! He took pleasure in helping others. Neighbours referred to him as "Mr. Fix-it". He was often seen driving the gang to the grocery store. He was kind hearted and generous. Sid was predeceased by his wife Olive (1976) and his brother Fred (1984). He is survived by his daughter Carole (Barry) Gates, grandson Arlan and his son Keith (Merrilyn). Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Lions Personal Care Centre, especially the staff on the 4th floor. We will be forever grateful for the love and care you gave our father over the years. Dads struggle with Alzheimers disease for the past nine years was made easier because of you. Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 28 at 10:30 a.m. Thomson Funeral Chapel 669 Broadway Avenue. Pastor Bruce Logan officiating.
