EVELYN MARY BAZAN (nee KNIGHT) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Evelyn Bazan at the Selkirk General Hospital, at the age of 69 years, on Wednesday, June 23, 2004. Evelyn was born in Selkirk, MB on July 31, 1933 to George and Isabel Knight. She attended school in Lockport and Selkirk. She was a great bingo player and lived for her trips to the Shooting Star Casino with her friend Bev. She will be sadly missed by her niece Barbara who spent most evenings with her. She was predeceased by her husband Michael (1977) her parents, George and Isabel; brothers, Howard and James Parks; sisters, Lilian Peebles, Ethel Freeman, Audrey Mathers and Margaret Goodman. She leaves to mourn her sister Edna Maxon and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 28, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. in the St. Thomas Anglican Church, Lockport, MB with Rev. Stephen Sharman officiating. A private family interment will be held prior to the service. In lieu of flowers if friends so desire, donations may be made to the St. Thomas Church Building Fund.
