It gives our family comfort knowing he is with his beloved wife Anne, who predeceased him on December 24, 2003. Fred was one of eight children born to Mary Anne and Norman James Norris. Fred worked at the Forestry at West Hawk Lake when they were first married. He later worked for the Highways Department during the summer and in the winter in the bush, cutting wood to support his family. They moved to Winnipeg in 1960 where they resided until 1986. During these years Fred worked at Richardson Farms and later the University of Manitoba until his retirement in 1986. Fred and Anne then moved back to McMunn where they built their beloved home along the Birch River. Here they enjoyed many years of their retirement before moving to Brandon in 2002. Fred was a hard worker and took great pride in his work, home and family. We will always remember him for his loving and caring ways. His Journeys Just Begun Dont think of him as gone away his journeys just begun life holds so many facets - this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the hearts of those he touched... for nothing loved is ever lost - and he was loved so much. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium Hwy.
