WILLIAM (BILL) SPRINGER On Wednesday, June 23, 2004, Bill Springer passed away unexpectedly at the age of 89. Bill is survived by his wife Gloria; daughter Elaine Primeau and husband Don Kowalski; son Randy of Toronto; grandchildren, Jay, Tara of Nelson, BC, Natalie of Toronto; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Wayne; and six brothers and sisters. He was employed by Canadian Bronze as a tool and die maker, rising to plant manager at the time of his retirement. He ran a home business for many years, bronzing baby shoes from across Canada. Bill was a do-it yourself kind of guy who also enjoyed inventing things until his eyesight failed. He had a wonderful sense of humour, was willing to lend a helping hand and was devoted to his family. Special thanks to the Home Care staff at ArlingtonHaus. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 26, 1:00 p.m., at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bills memory to CNIB or CancerCare of Manitoba.
