VIOLA EILEEN TUCKETT (STEFANSON) Peacefully with her family by her side at the Selkirk General Hospital, Viola Tuckett aged 76 years of Winnipeg, MB. Viola will be lovingly remembered by her husband Jack Tuckett; children, Arthur, Brad (Gail), Clarence (Wendy), Danny, Laura-Lie (Ron), Orville (Denise), Runi (Ted), Terry (Sheila) stepdaughters, Jean (Paul) and Amanda (Geoff) 23 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She worked for many years at the Selkirk Mental Hospital and Manitoba Cancer Foundation of which she retired from. Viola had a great love for both cats and music. She was very musically inclined and enjoyed both singing and playing the piano. A memorial service in celebration of Violas life will be held on Saturday, June 26 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk with Pastor Stan Richards officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the staff of both the Selkirk Mental Hospital and the Selkirk General Hospital for all their care and compassion shown to Viola and our family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Manitoba Unit, 10-120 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk, in care of arrangements.
