Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARION CRAVEN It is with deep and heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of Marion Henrietta Jessie Craven on Wednesday, June 23, 2004. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends as she entered into Gods Heavenly arms. Mom was born in Market Montreal Quebec, August 2, 1925, to William Thomas and Evelyn Glendaning. She was predeceased by her two husbands, James Hancock and Newton Craven; her son Jimmy; her brother Tommy; her sister Ellen and her son-in-law Jean Luc Simard. Survived by her loving daughters, Janet, Beatrice (Eric) and Patricia; son John (Colleen) daughter-in-law Linda; grandchildren, Dawn-Marie, Paula, Cory, Jerrod, Shauna, T.J, James, Neil, Henry and Annie; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Mom was employed as a nurses aide in her earlier years. She loved to knit, bake, travel and stamp collecting. She also volunteered at the local food bank, helping people whenever they needed a helping hand. She was well known for her salt and pepper collection and love of cats. Our family at his time would like to extend our appreciation and thanks to the Dialysis unit, Emergency and GD4 staff of the H.S.C. Viewing will be on Sunday, June 27, from 2:00 p.m. To 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on June 28 at 2:00 p.m. Final resting place Transcona Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Annie, Dawn, Henry, T.J, Neil and Christain. Donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society in memory of Marion Craven.
