CLAIRE MAITLAND HALSTEAD Claire Maitland Halstead, aged 76 years of Moose Jaw, SK, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2004. The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 28 at 2:00 p.m. in Parkview Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Carley officiating. Burial will follow the service in Rosedale Cemetery. Claire was a pioneer in the field of denturism, of which he worked for 44 years. He was a lifelong member of the Masons. Claires true loves were his cabin at the lake, gardening and cooking. Claire was survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Grace; three sons, Dale (Sue) of Cumberland, BC, Daryl (Sheila) of High Level, AB and Ron (Brenda) of Sun Valley Beach, SK; grandchildren, Melissa (Tim) Phillips, Shaun, Tami (Andrew) Riecker, Lynn, Jess, Ryan and Meagan; brother Carl; and many other relatives and friends. As part of the Living Legacy Planting Program, Parkview Funeral Chapel will have a tree planted in Wakamow Valley in memory of Claire. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Box 1061, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 4P8 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 2360 - 2nd Ave., Regina, SK S4R 1A6.
