LEONARD ALEXANDER ZAPARNIUK
Date of Passing: Jun 24, 2004
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLEONARD ALEXANDER ZAPARNIUK On June 24, 2004, Len Zaparniuk peacefully passed away at the Concordia Hospital at the age of 71. Len was a devoted son, husband, father and grandfather who especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren. Len devoted the past couple of years to caring for his ailing wife, Diane and his mother, May. Prior to the death of his wife and mother, Len was an avid outdoorsman and sports enthusiast. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, gardening and the occasional horse race. Len was a loving husband who enjoyed doing everything with Diane at his side. Lens favourite destination was the Jones Road, a place where he would bond with family and friends, a place where he found relaxation, peace and tranquility. Prior to retirement, Len was an upholsterer who took pride in his work and strived for perfection. Len will be remembered and sadly missed by his children, Len, Rob, and Judy and their respective spouses, Angie, Sue and Tony; his grandchildren, Kristin and Jenny; his best friend Eugene Sheremeta and several of Dianes brothers and sisters. Cremation and a private service for immediate family will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cancer Research in honour of Len would be appreciated. Many thanks for the concern and excellent care provided to Len by the nurses and staff at the Concordia Hospital. Dad, Grandpa, we love you and we will miss you.
