Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEILEEN CARTWRIGHT (nee TODORUK) 1936 - 2004 Peacefully after a courageous battle with Cancer, Eileen ascended into heaven on Monday, June 21, 2004. She will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband Lorin; son Lance and wife Cynthia; mother Anne Todoruk; brothers, Al Todoruk, Tom (Shannon) Todoruk and their children, Jordan, Megan and Amy; sister Sharon Wachal and her children, Brad (Sheila) Wachal, Maureen (Mike) MacIntosh, and Lisa (Trevor) Rowe; as well as her great-nephews/nieces, Krystin and Jory Rowe, Breeann and Brennen Wachal. Eileen will also be lovingly remembered by her family in the Bahamas, mother-in-law Murline Cartwright; brothers and sisters-in-law, Vivian, Neville, Rosie, Vergie and Eric and their families. Eileen will also be remembered by many other relatives in different parts of the world, friends and neighbours. Eileen was predeceased by her beloved father, Nicholas Todoruk in 1978. Eileen retired from the Winnipeg Police Department in 2001 and devoted her time collecting monkeys, line dancing and finding the "best" bargains at garage sales with dear friend/neighbour, Lorraine Bartecki. Eileen has been described by her friends as a fun loving friend who enjoyed making others smile. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 30 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 730 McPhillips St. at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Julie Collings officiating.
