LEA MARION It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother and grandmother, Lea at the St. Boniface Hospital, surrounded by family members, after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, June 26, 2004 at the age of 56 years. Lea leaves to cherish her memory, her daughters, Sherrie Marion-Finck (Brian) and Chandra Gray (Brad) her granddaughter Ashley and a little angel soon to be born; her mother Hortense Sabourin; her brothers and sisters, Edmond (Murielle), Berthe (Rene) Nadeau, Sylvio (Kathy), Henri (Kim), Claire (George) Newman and Louise (Gilbert) Collette; her husband Roger Marion and his parents, Leon and Rita Marion; numerous nieces and nephews. Lea was predeceased by her father Armand Sabourin in 1989 and her brother Claude in 2004. Lea was a beautiful, meticulous woman who loved to dance. The people whose lives Lea touched will remember how loving, caring and compassionate a woman she was. Lea loved her volunteer work for many years at various services. Her two daughters and granddaughter were her pride and joy, her love for them overflowed. Funeral services will be held at the Holy Family Church, 778 Archibald St. in St. Boniface on Wednesday, June 30 at 1:00 p.m. Interment of Leas cremated remains will take place in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Archibald Street following the memorial mass celebrated by Fr. Ron Leger. "Youve been the most wonderful mom. God created you with a smile that warms, with affection that encourages and with a heart that loves and gives freely to everyone. Your love has helped us learn and grow. With gentle words of wisdom and your warm and caring ways, your courage inspired us all. You taught us to be positive, to be ourselves, and to believe in who we are. Weve learned from your example to be generous and kind. Your influence will always be there. We love you, Mom." Those wishing to do so may make a donation in Leas memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3G 9Z9. LECLAIRE BROTHERS in care of arrangements. 775-2220
