Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryHENRY HIEBERT Peacefully, on Friday, June 25, 2004 at the Thompson General Hospital, Mr. Henry Hiebert, aged 62 years. Beloved husband of Judy Hiebert of Setting Lake. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 29 in the St. Johns United Church, 52 Caribou Rd. at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Leslie King officiating. Funeral services will also be held at the EMC Church in Winkler on Friday, July 2 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Henry was born on January 25, 1942 in Winkler, MB. He attended school in Reinland and Gretna and then went to Normal School in Winnipeg and became a teacher. He taught for three years at a Hutterite Colony near Elie. He then went back to school at the University of Manitoba for a degree in science. He was immediately hired by the School District of Mystery Lake in Thompson in 1972 and was there until his retirement in 1997. He was very loyal to his students and is remembered fondly by them. He loved Setting Lake - the fishing, the camaraderie, the building projects, the pig roasts and his four - wheeler. He leaves to mourn and will be dearly missed by his wife Judy; stepdaughters, Jennifer Sherry (Nigel Miller) of Toronto and Andrea Malyon (Scott) of Winnipeg; four grandchildren, Graeme, Kate, Laura and Ian; mother Margaret of Winkler; brother Abe (Lucille) of Lockport; sisters-in-law, Sara of Reinfeld and Hilda of Winnipeg; plus numerous relatives and friends. Henry was predeceased by his father Abraham and brothers, Frank and Pete. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire donations may be made in Henrys memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
