She was predeceased by her beloved husband W. Vern of 53 years; her parents, Henry and Dorothy; her devoted sister Audrey; and brother Stewart. She is survived by her sons, Richard, Brian (Kres), Lyle (Pat) and Paul-Sean; daughters, Marta (Jim) and Deirdre; brother Patrick; and sisters-in-law, Evelyn (Alec) and Iris; as well as her special granddaughter Asha Elizabeth; and many nieces and nephews. They raised six children together where Millicent was Queen Bee of her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading current events, cooking, bike riding, Grand Beach, movies, ballet and debating issues. She was a big Blue Bomber fan and sports fan in general. She was wonderful to her neighbours and their children.
