Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGLEN WILLIAM FINNEY Peacefully, on Sunday, June 27, 2004 Glen William Finney passed away at the age of 76. He is survived by his wife Alice; sons, Ken (Holly) of Kelowna BC, Gary (Tanis) of Winnipeg, Wayne (Angela) of Winnipeg; daughter Valerie (Wayne) of Winnipeg; and grandchildren, Teya and Colby, Tyler Colin and Kayla, Heather, Richelle Talia and Lauryn, and Shaylynn. He will be missed by Hank (Sandy) with son Larry of Stoney Creek, ON. Glen is also survived by his brother Dave; sisters, Isabelle Tonn and Ruth Kirkland. Dad was predeceased by his daughter Shelley; his parents, Richard and Mary-Ann; along with his brothers, Robert and John. Glen was born in Grass River, MB on November 24. Glen spent most of his working years in Thompson, MB where he worked underground and raised his family with Alice in the 1960s and 1970s. He loved country music, rural living, the prairies, the Rocky Mountains, and the railroad across the West. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. with viewing one half hour prior at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with an interment and reception to follow. In lieu of flowers donations in Glens name may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200, 6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
