Offer Condolences or MemoryAGNES IRENE "NANCY" GUTTORMSON (WHEELER) Agnes Irene "Nancy" (Wheeler) passed from this life on June 25, 2004. Nancy is lovingly remembered by her husband, Norman; daughter, Donna Loren; granddaughter, Kaelen; sister, Ruth (Jim) Komishon; sister-in-law, Thelma (Kerr) Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces/nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Joseph Wheeler; mother, Mary Black (Low) (Wheeler) brothers, Jack, Ernie, Murray; sisters, Ethel, Nonie, Chris. Nancy was born in Winnipeg, MB, February 24, 1924. After high school she began a long and productive career as a bookkeeper for various companies. At her hobbies, Nancy was endlessly creative and inventive. She enjoyed sewing, needlepoint, knitting and rug latching, often devising her own patterns and designs, she was skilled at almost any task she attempted. It was her greatest pleasure to share her talents with family and friends. Most important to Nancy was her family, near or far, and she delighted in get-togethers. Nancy lived her life with great strength and dignity, and she championed her illness and transition likewise. A loving wife, mother, Amma, sister, auntie and friend, Nancy will be dearly missed. At Nancys request, there will be no funeral. There will, however, be a remembrance tea. Please contact immediate family for particulars. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society or the Cerebral Palsy Association.
