VIVIANNE HUGETTE SORIN (nee PLAMONDON) April 25, 1943 - June 27, 2004 It is with great sadness we mourn the passing of our beloved wife, mom, grandmother, great-grandmother on Sunday, June 27, 2004. After a long courageous battle with cancer, she passed away at Victoria General Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Joseph; one daughter Gisele (Romeo) Rey; two sons, Daniel, Guy (Lillianne) Memere Joes nine grandchildren, Marc (Kathleen), Joanne (friend Raylond Lepine) and Sophie Rey, Crystal Minault, Kiana, Julien, Chantal, Christine, and Andre Sorin; one great-grandson Brayden Rey. Three brothers, five sisters, Emilien, Simone Joyal, Claire Calder, Yvette Joyal, Lucette Loiselle, Leo (Diana), Sylvio (Irene), Dolores (Matt) Sandul; two brothers-in-law, Glen Jamieson, Emilien Lavoie; also numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Achille and Olivine (Dupuis) Plamondon, one brother Fr. Louis Plamondon SJ; two sisters, Jeanne Jamieson, Blanche Lavoie; one sister-in-law Jeanne Plamondon; four brothers-in-law, Gerard Joyal, William Calder, Edmond Joyal, Edouard Loiselle. Prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004 at St. Norbert Church, 108-80 rue Saint-Pierre, St. Norbert, presided by Fr. Vo Van Hoa. The family would like to thank the multitude of doctors and nurses for their care throughout her illness. A special thank you to the 4th floor staff at Victoria General Hospital for their excellent care of mom. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cancer Care Manitoba, 675 McDermot Ave., Rm.
