WILMA ATKINSON 1925 - 2004 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wilma Atkinson, aged 79 on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at the Concordia Hospital. Wilma will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Terry (Rosella) daughter Karen (Greg) Hygaard; grandchildren, Dylan and Kelsey Hygaard; sister Muriel Alexander; and many friends and relatives. Wilma was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Elizabeth Alexander. Wilma was born in Vista, MB on February 4, 1925. Wilma lived her life with great strength and dignity. One of Wilmas greatest pleasures was spending time with her family. Dylan and Kelsey both benefited from Grandmas nurturing ways in their earlier years. Wilma enjoyed playing the piano and was a loyal follower of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. She appreciated the support and well wishes from all her friends and relatives. The family wishes to express their sincerest appreciation to the staff at Kildonan Personal Care Home for their kindness and care of our mother over the past year and a half.
