CHRISTIAN ROEMICH Peacefully, on June 27, 2004 at Seven Oaks Hospital, Christian Roemich, beloved husband of Katharina, passed away at the age of 84 years. Christian will be sadly missed by his wife Katharina; son Hermann (Sharon) grandsons, Shaun and Brenden; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Adolf in infancy, his parents, and one sister. Christian and Katharina were married on September 6, 1941, and were blessed to have shared 62 years of marriage together. He had a passion for music and especially enjoyed singing in the Winnipeg German Choir and the church choir. Special thank you to Dr. Finlayson and staff at Seven Oaks Hospital for their care and kindness in making Christian comfortable in his last few days. Thank you also to Pastor Engel for his spiritual support to the family. A private family interment will take place in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 815 Inkster Blvd. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christians memory may be made to Christ Lutheran Church, or to a charity of ones choice.
