DANIEL I. TARDIFF On June 27, 2004, Daniel Isadore Tardiff fell into eternal rest. His memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of 63, Agnes (nee Levreault) his children, Irvine and wife Wendy Tardiff of Calgary, and Linda and husband John Anderson of Winnipeg; and grandchildren, Natalie and husband Matt Blair, and Charles and Ivor Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents, Florien and Laurentine Tardiff; his siblings, Alexandra, Clemence, Omer, Rene, Raymond, Raoul and Zephirin Tardiff; and by his grandson Michael Tardiff. He also leaves to mourn many extended family members and friends, with special mention of his faithful friend Kevin Dandurand. Dad was born on June 4, 1914 in Mariapolis, educated in Bruxelles, and then, as a young man, farmed on his allotment of the familys property. He later became employed as a grain buyer in Cardinal until he and Agnes moved to Winnipeg. Dad spent the rest of his working career employed as a wood worker. Dad, with Agnes, put his energies into providing a stable home for his family. He will be remembered for his work ethic, wicked sense of humour, generosity and his thoughtfulness for others. Dad selflessly and quietly lent a steadfast hand to those in need. His sense of fun was endearing to both acquaintances and strangers alike. Hell be missed by all. The funeral service, officiated by Fr. Fred Olds, will be held at Green Acres Funeral Chapel, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road on Friday, July 2 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Tache Centre, 185 Despins, Winnipeg, MB R2H 2B3. GREEN ACRES Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematorium Hwy. #1 E. at Navin, 222-3241
