GEORGE PARKER Peacefully on June 28, 2004 George passed away at the Grace Hospital. Born in Lambeth, England on July 24, 1916 he came to Canada when he was six years old. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister as well as his daughter Kathleen OHanlon. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving wife Eunice and brother-in-law Ken. George worked for CN and Via Rail for 45 years. At the time of his retirement party it was the largest party ever attended. He was loved by everyone and known as a prankster who played jokes on all his friends. His favourite pastime was doing crosswords, going cycling with his wife and was an avid fisherman. The two of them travelled over 2000 miles every summer till they were nearly 70 years old. At Georges request cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
