KATHLEEN JEAN COWIE (BODNARCHUK) August 30, 1934 - June 27, 2004 Died peacefully in Calgary, Alberta. Her husband Ron, of 45 years, recently predeceased Jeannie, in May 2004. Jeannie is survived by her father John Bodnarchuk, of Winnipeg, sons, Rory and Neal (Wendy), grandchildren, Brianne and Steven, all of Calgary. Jean is also survived by, her sisters, Carol (Bill) of Winnipeg, and Margaret of Sidney, BC, as well as brothers, Arthur and David (Helen) of Calgary, along with numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties and other relatives and friends. Jean was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She travelled to Scotland where she met and married her husband Ron in 1959. They returned to Winnipeg in 1962, where they lived until moving to Calgary in 2000. Jeannie enjoyed camping and travelling tremendously, as well as spending time with family and friends. In respect of Jeannies wishes, her body has been donated to the University of Calgary for medical studies. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Huntington Society of Canada, or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
