EARL FRANK GARRIOCH Peacefully, Earl Garrioch passed away at home on Canada Day with his loved ones at his bedside. Earl will be sadly missed by the love of his heart, Doreen Young; his son Nicholas and daughter-in-law Patrica; grandchildren, Christopher and Laura; sisters, Vivian and Marion; and brother Clayton. He was predeceased by his wife Isabel; sisters, Dorothy and Peggy; and brothers, Stan and Bill. Earl was born in Portage la Prairie on July 20, 1928. After moving to Winnipeg, he enjoyed many years working at Labatts and ABD until retirement. He was active member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Fort Garry Branch No. 90, where he contributed much of his time and talents alongside his many friends and comrades. The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the Palliative Care program nurses and home care workers for their kindness and compassionate care of Earl. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Earl to CancerCare Manitoba, 109-675 McDermot Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9, or a charity of your choice. A memorial service will take place on Friday, July 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomson in the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivary Blvd., Winnipeg.
