Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPETER LYTWYN August 22, 1911 - July 2, 2004 Peter Lytwyn born, August 22, 1911 in Ukraine, died July 2, 2004 at River East Personal Care Home, at the age of 92. Peter is survived by his wife Rose; daughters, Adeline Armstrong (Glen) and Shirley Bomak; grandson Bobby Bomak (Stacey) granddaughter Connie Gale (Darren), and great-granddaughter Madison Gale. He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers John and Nick, and his son-in-law Bob Bomak. Peter was born in the Ukraine and emigrated to Canada in 1929 where he worked on his brother Johns farm till he came to Winnipeg and worked at Oglivie Flour Mills until his retirement in 1976. Dad loved to garden and his yard. Dad was stricken with Parkinsons and he was no longer able to get around on his own. Dad spent the last four years at the River East Personal Care Home. Dad fought a brave fight and seldom complained. Our thanks to the staff at River East for their kindness and compassion for Peter. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at Klassen Funeral Chapel, 1897 Henderson Hwy. with a reception to follow. Burial will be at a later date with a private family service. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations to your favourite charity. Dads wish was to walk again and now he is walking with the angels.
