Elsie was born on June 29, 1953 in Duck Bay spending most of her life in Winnipeg. She leaves to mourn her husband, Ernest Kehler; children, Gilbert, Dale, Crissy, Christina and Sharmain; grandchildren, Shawn, Stephanie and Nathaniel; sisters, Yvonne, Lena and Molly and brothers, Bill and Kenny. Elsie was predeceased by her mother and father, daughters, Joyce, Sharlene and Sandra and son Richard. Viewing took place on Saturday, July 3 from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel, 724 Selkirk Ave. at Parr, Winnipeg. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 4 at 4:00 p.m. also at the Aboriginal Funeral Chapel with Pastor Nathan Rieger officiating.
